Dare to Trust

Life for many at this present time is filled with excitement and expectation and simultaneously for many there is sadness and solitude.

Life is filled with a multitude of twists and turns but the fact is that life is not simply a static point in time but a journey we are all on.

There are those things that we have in common we have dreamed for and we have aspired to. We have those things we have and are believing for and clinging to – Well! Let me encourage you to continue to do so.   

“Romans 4:17” says “…… God, is the one who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did…..”.

If you have been pouring out your heart for what seems years. If you have been hoping that things would have changed by now? If you have cried all the faith you have through with floods of tears?

Well, let me encourage you today not to forget the things that He has done before and call you to remember that He can do it all once more.

On the other side of your darkest night there is brightest sunrise you have ever seen – sure you’ve not seen it yet but don’t lose hope, hold on and believe.

In the dark mornings there is always a sunrise you just have to wait for the clouds to pass. I tell you today that you are only moments from the break of dawn that you have been waiting for. You are closer that your natural senses are telling you and the defeated Satan wants you to believe.

Think for a moment about Balaam the Prophet. Balaam in his prophecy he predicted the coming of one a Messiah he said “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star shall come from Jacob and a sceptre shall rise out of Israel” – “Numbers 24:17”. Just as Balaam the prophet saw a star rise out of Israel, Matthew in his Gospel says recounting the words of Magi and speaking of the Messiah Balaam spoke of said “We have seen his star at its rising and have come to worship him” – “Matthew 2:2”

In like manner let me say today that He your Saviour had the solution before you even had the problem. Let me remind you that He sees the best in you when you feel at your worst, when you feel all is lost, when you think your dreams have gone up in smoke.

So, in the midst of your questioning, don’t ever doubt His love for you. He is saying to you – I dare you to trust my love.
